This is the first time that the Bureau has accepted the inspection of export goods since the formal acceptance of the pre-shipment inspection of Egyptian goods on May 1.
According to the "Ministry of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the Memorandum of Understanding on the Pre-shipment Inspection of China's Exported Industrial Products" signed by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the People's Republic of China, since July 1, 2009, China Imports of Egyptian industrial products are subject to pre-shipment inspection before they can be imported into Egypt. In order to ensure the smooth customs clearance of export commodities in Egypt, the Zhangzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau actively took measures to boost the export of fluorescent lamps to Egypt.
