New marine emergency lights have a life span of nearly 100 times

A few days ago, a company's ship branch of China Communications First Aviation Administration developed a new energy-saving light source for ship emergency lights - semiconductor light-emitting diodes. This kind of light source consumes only 1/10 to 1/30 of the average incandescent lamp, and its life is extended by 100 times, and it is environmentally friendly and pollution-free.

The original ship emergency lights generally use incandescent lamps, which have large power consumption, require more batteries, and have a short discharge time. The technicians found that the rational use of semiconductor light-emitting diodes can fully meet the brightness requirements of ships, and at the same brightness, semiconductor light-emitting diodes consume only 1/10 to 1/30 of the power of ordinary incandescent lamps, and the lifetime can be extended by 100 times. At the same time, the light source emitted by the semiconductor light-emitting diode is a green environment-friendly illumination source, which is non-polluting, convenient to control, and can adjust the brightness intensity at will. In order to facilitate the installation, the branch company solders the high-brightness LED on the circuit board and solders the step-down resistor to the back of the circuit board, which enhances the safety of the ship's emergency light, and is convenient and practical.

At present, the branch has carried out several tests on the “lifting 26” ship. The emergency light can not only meet the requirements of brightness, but also consumes only 1/25 of the previous power. This technology will be further promoted on all ships. .
