Guangdong Ganhua has decided to relist its 100% equity and related creditor rights of Guangdong Deli Photoelectric Co., Ltd. (Deli Optoelectronics) for a third time, adjusting the starting price to 40 million yuan. This follows the failure to attract a suitable transferee in previous listings.
The company initially announced the sale on November 13, with the first listing period running from September 30, 2017, to October 12, 2017, at a starting price of RMB 68,666,460. A second round was launched from October 13, 2017, to October 19, 2017, with a reduced starting price of RMB 500,000 after a profit adjustment. Despite these efforts, no interested buyer was found during either listing period.
In response, the company's 8th Board of Directors held its 28th meeting on October 24, 2017, and the 4th Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders took place on November 10, 2017. Both meetings approved the continued transfer of Deli Optoelectronics’ 100% equity and related creditor rights. The new starting price was set at 40 million yuan, and the transfer will be facilitated through the Southern United Property Rights Exchange Center.
As part of the transaction, Deli Optoelectronics must cover the company’s debt of RMB 23,841,900 as a prerequisite for the equity transfer. This move reflects the company's ongoing strategy to streamline operations and focus on core business areas. The decision to relist the assets underscores the importance of finding a strategic buyer who can unlock value from Deli Optoelectronics.
