12 national standards for semiconductor lighting have been completed


The National Lighting Appliance Standardization Technical Committee held a technical seminar on national and industrial standards for lighting appliances in Zhuhai City, Eastern Province from July 1 to July 2, 2008, including 12 countries and industries for LEDs for general lighting. The standard has been completed in the consultation draft (see the attachment for the catalogue). The meeting was chaired by Secretary-General Qu Suhui, Lighting Standards Committee, Vice Chairman Liu Shengping of China Lighting Association, Deputy Secretary-General of National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance, and Secretary-General Zhao Ying of the Semiconductor Lighting Technology Standards Working Group of the Ministry of Information Industry. More than 200 representatives from the lighting industry, semiconductor devices, testing organizations, and research institutes attended the seminar.

Vice Chairman Liu Shengping pointed out at the meeting that the conference was very special. Under the promotion of the national semiconductor lighting project, the domestic LED lighting application is heating up, and it is urgent to formulate standards to guide the development of the industry. Deputy Secretary-General Qi Jun pointed out that since the implementation of the National Semiconductor Lighting Project, in addition to strengthening the technical research and development of upstream epitaxial materials, it has always attached importance to application-driven development, and is working on the development of semiconductor lighting standards in China through the Alliance Standardization Coordination Working Group. Organization and coordination. Deputy Secretary-General Qi Jun suggested first to develop semiconductor lighting standards in a more developed way to solve the problem of disconnection and duplication of semiconductor lighting involving different industrial sectors and upstream and downstream standards; secondly, to strengthen semiconductor lighting standardization work and major projects of the 863 Program Major technological breakthroughs, product development and major applications in the implementation process; once again, international and regional cooperation to strengthen standards, not only in line with international standards, but also in line with the status quo of domestic industrial development, and strengthen information on standards in Taiwan. Communicate and communicate and explore the feasibility of jointly developing standards.

During the two-day meeting, delegates had a heated discussion on the requirements of the 12 standards for lighting and the characteristics of semiconductor devices. They agreed that the standards were formulated in a timely manner and the meeting was well discussed, but Delegates also pointed out that some technical indicators and test methods in the standard should be fully collected data and research, and the standard work should continue to strengthen the connection between upstream and downstream, so that the standards developed are more scientific and reasonable.

This standard seminar is the first LED standard seminar for lighting since the launch of the National Semiconductor Lighting Project. In the near future, the Lighting Industry Standardization Committee will hold an overall coordination meeting of standard drafters in accordance with the discussions at the meeting to better harmonize the relevant content of the standards and speed up the formulation of standards. It is expected that this batch of standards will be promulgated and implemented at the end of this year and early next year.
