On September 3, the BRICS event took place in Xiamen, where several key projects, including the Bengbu District Project, were illuminated with night lighting designed and constructed by Qianbaihui—a company wholly owned by Alto Electronics (stock code: 002587). These efforts played a significant role in supporting the successful hosting of the BRICS Conference.
The International Convention and Exhibition Center and the International Conference Center served as central venues for the event. Qianbaihui developed two distinct lighting modes for the night illumination of these buildings. During the BRICS Conference, the lighting was set to a golden hue, symbolizing the "Golden Brick" theme. After the event, the lighting was adjusted to a warmer 3000K color temperature, which is standard for normal operations. The specific color temperature was determined based on the building’s façade material, ensuring a harmonious and visually appealing overall effect through extensive testing.
In 2016, Alto Electronics acquired 100% ownership of Qianbaihui for RMB 300 million, making it a fully owned subsidiary. Since then, Qianbaihui has become a leading integrated solution provider in China's lighting engineering industry. Specializing in landscape lighting design, construction, and the development and sale of lighting products, Qianbaihui holds top-tier qualifications in city and road lighting engineering, as well as Grade A lighting design certification.
Alto Electronics itself has a strong track record in global events, having provided LED display systems for major international events such as the 2014 Brazil World Cup, the 2015 FIBA-Asia Championship, the 2015 China Football Association Cup final, the 2015 Shenzhen International Marathon, the 2016 Europe Cup, the 2016 China Football Association Super Cup, and the 2017 Russia Federation Cup. These projects have helped establish the company as a high-end and professional brand on the global stage.
Qianbaihui’s involvement in key Xiamen projects, particularly those related to the BRICS meeting, highlights Alto Electronics’ strong capabilities and commitment to quality. The company continues to prioritize product and service excellence, aiming to serve clients worldwide.
In its 2017 semi-annual report, the company reported impressive financial results. During the reporting period, operating income reached 445 million yuan, up 148.53% year-over-year. Operating profit rose to 58.88 million yuan, an increase of 94.39%, while net profit attributable to shareholders reached 61.08 million yuan, a growth of 123.39%. The performance improvement was mainly attributed to the consolidation of Qianbaihui and increased operational revenue.
Through strategic acquisitions and a focus on innovation, Alto Electronics and its subsidiaries are continuously expanding their influence in the global lighting and event technology sectors.
