Feeling bad eyes? Try this medical iPhone accessory

Tencent Digital (Compile: Human) has to queue up for a long time each time he goes to the hospital to check his eyes. So Smart Vision Labs has launched a visual inspection system called SVOne Enterprise which can be controlled by remote control. The doctor came to our optometry. This small device can detect the refraction of our eyeballs within a few seconds and send the test results to the doctor. Within 24 hours, it will receive a prescription from a doctor to help us go to the optical shop to get a pair of glasses.

SVOne Enterprise differs from the professional devices we often see in hospitals. Instead, it is a handheld device that works with the iPhone and requires the iPhone's camera, processor, and Wi-Fi connection. SVOne Enterprise weighs less than a pound, and we can use it to measure our own vision.

SVOne Enterprise can project 100 red dots on our retina, and the iPhone camera will then take a light reflection and import it into the application for analysis. If these red points are far away from the grid, then it is farsighted; if you move into the grid, it turns out to be nearsightedness. If the shape of the red dot is somewhat elliptical, then it is a problem of astigmatism.

After the test is completed, all data is sent to the doctor. The doctor then signs the prescription and the tester can check his prescription information through the SVOne Enterprise website.

At present, SVOne Enterprise has already begun to conduct tests in some optical shops or community hospitals in New York. It seems that when it comes to vision testing, it will no longer need a hospital.
