Key features and benefits of PurePath HD technology
- Audio bandwidth exceeds 73 kHz, enabling applications such as Blu-ray home theater systems to achieve high-definition media playback;
- Low distortion over the entire frequency range for rich, natural sound;
- High power supply noise rejection reduces bill of materials and system cost by reducing power requirements. The power reference design further simplifies development;

Key features and benefits of the TAS5630 and TAS5631
-300 W stereo or 600 W mono output power reduces efficiency by more than 88% without the need for transformers or large heat sinks, reducing bill of materials and overall solution cost;
- With 1 W power for a 4 ohm load (stereo), the THD is 0.03% for ultra-low distortion under normal listening conditions;
- When the power is comparable to a traditional discrete Class D amplifier, the number of components is reduced by 70%, which reduces system failure rates, speeds time-to-market, and achieves higher manufacturing yields;
- Pin compatibility with the TAS5615 and TAS5616 150 W stereo amplifiers to maximize design reuse for lower power systems.
Supply and packaging
The TAS56xx series is available now and is available in a variety of design configurations. The 600 W TAS5630 and TAS5631 are available in PHD and DKD packages with analog input and PWM input configurations, respectively. In addition, the 300 W TAS5615 and TAS5616 are available in both packages with analog input and PWM input configurations.
