Application of Compact Industrial Wireless Client in AGV System

With the continuous improvement of modern warehouse management systems, engineers use a large number of AGVs (automatic guided vehicles) to replace traditional manual forklifts, which can reduce operating costs and greatly increase efficiency. In order to ensure the reliability of operation and operation, the engineering personnel must manage and monitor the AGVs in the entire warehouse. Therefore, they adopted an Automatic Identification and Data Acquisition (AIDC) technology to implement this function through the WLAN network.

In order to navigate and monitor the progress of unmanned AGVs on the work area channel, uninterrupted data acquisition and transmission must be performed through on-board sensors and transceivers. The AGV with such a narrow space is equipped with more than 20 sensors and controllers, making the size of each component an important factor that must be considered when designing the system. The Moxa AWK-1121/1127 series wireless clients support 802.11 a/b/g and are Moxa's industry-class wireless clients with the smallest size. The product is compact in design, even lower than the height of a can of soda, so it can be placed in an AGV. It can not only take up space, but also can effectively integrate other components to achieve wireless communication of AGV data.

In addition to its compact size, the AWK-1121/1127 series also supports the 802.11 a/b/g standard, as well as Moxa's patented TurboRoamingTM fast roaming switching technology, enabling fast switching within 100ms. Not only that, the product also has an industrial-grade IP30 enclosure that can be used in harsh industrial environments. By simply installing an AWK-1121 on the AGV, engineers can remotely control the AGV's travel, storage and retrieval of goods. The entire process is very reliable and stable, creating a more sensitive and efficient storage and maintenance system.

Why Moxa
Compact design, can be installed in any small space. Supports TurboRoamingTM, enables fast roaming switching within 100ms, ensuring uninterrupted transmission of AGV navigation data

The FirstPower CFPS(2V) and LFPS(6V/12V) series stationary batteries (Opzs Battery) are the newly products which were developed at the end of 2005.
The performances meet the standard DIN40736 and IEC60896-21...Characteristics  Positive plate: It is a tubular plate that can prevent the active material from falling off. The grid of positive plate is Pb-Sb multi-alloy
Separator: With the combined application of porous rubber and porous PVC, the separator has a high porosity and good corrosion-resistance
Acid-proof bolt: It is of a special shape of funnel having the function of filtering acid smog and retarding flame. It can measure the density and temperature of electrolyte.
The design life is more than 20 years
Ensuring sufficient electrolyte for battery discharge
