On March 29th, Toshiba will officially enter the Chinese LED lighting market. Since April 1st, Toshiba Group Corporation Toshiba Lighting (Fuzhou) Co., Ltd. has introduced 5.5W LED lamps with a brightness equivalent to 40W incandescent lamps. There are two new models, warm white and daylight.
In the context of China's promotion of energy conservation and emission reduction, in the field of lighting, the activity of replacing incandescent lamps has attracted much attention. Compared with energy-saving light sources, LED lamps are less affected by temperature changes. Excessive point-off does not affect life and does not emit ultraviolet light. Toshiba hopes to bring the latest energy-saving lighting technology to China and expand its LED lighting products represented by LED lights.
On March 17, 2010, Toshiba Group terminated the production of ordinary incandescent lamps in order to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. As one of the birthplaces of Toshiba's business, incandescent products have also withdrawn from the stage after 120 years of history.
