Matsushita Electric Works Releases "EVERLEDS" Series of LED Lighting New Products

On March 8, 2010, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. released the new "LED FreePa Downlight" and "LED Downlight" (Figure 1) for the LED lighting equipment "EVERLEDS" series. Both products are sold with miniaturization and high energy efficiency. It is scheduled to be launched from April 2010.

The LED FreePa downlight uses four LED modules. The brightness is equivalent to a 60W incandescent lamp based on the total luminous flux, and the average color rendering index (Ra) is 80. The power consumption is 7.4W. Equipped with an infrared sensor, if the user forgets to turn off the light when going out, it will automatically turn off the light to reduce power consumption. By arranging the infrared sensor in the central part of the four LED modules, the embedded diameter is reduced to 100 mm (Fig. 2). The company's original product with infrared sensors encapsulates sensors and LED modules on different backplanes, so the embedded diameter is 150mm. Matsushita Electric said, "Not only is the performance of the LED module improved, but also a small aperture of 100mm is achieved by improving the circuit and heat dissipation design." It is scheduled to be launched on July 21, 2010. In terms of price, indoor products are 39,937 yen, and outdoor products are 40,350 yen (all at the time of the remote control).

As a product that uses one LED module, the LED downlight (HomeArchi) "considered the brightness equivalent to a 60W incandescent lamp and the pocket design of the industry's smallest embedded diameter of 85mm" (Panasonic Electric Power Managing Director, Headquarters of Lighting Business Headquarters) Songyin Bangzhang). The company's original product uses six LED modules, so the embedded diameter is 100mm (Figure 3). Ra is 90 and consumes 6.9W. In addition to the miniaturization of the light source, the shading angle was extended from the original 15 degrees to 30 degrees by improving the reflector design (Fig. 4). Thereby, the degree of glare when the user turns on the light can be reduced. Products not equipped with dimming function will be available on April 21, 2010, with a suggested retail price of 29,190 yen. The product with dimming function will be available on May 21, 2010 with a suggested retail price of 3,250 yen.

In addition, Matsushita Electric also disclosed the "LED Spotlight" for the store and the "Baselight Straight Type" for the office. The LED spotlight has a vertical illumination of 6000 lx and an Ra of 92. It will be listed in May 2010, and the market price is about 20,000 yen (the company). The LED basic light direct illumination type is the "first in the industry" (the company) to achieve a total luminous efficiency of 100lm / W products. It will be launched in July 2010, and the market price is about 170,000 to 180,000 yen (the company).

Matsushita Electric plans to increase the number of LED lighting products (including existing products) in 2010 to approximately 1,100, including approximately 280 residential products, approximately 460 products for stores and performances, and approximately 460 products for buildings and offices. There are 120 kinds of products for landscape and road use, about 240 kinds. The company said that it is expected that the sales amount in 2009 will exceed 10 billion yen. The sales amount of 15 billion yen will be realized in 2010, and 35 billion yen will be realized in 2012 by 15% in total. We will realize 100 billion yen in the year. We plan to further increase sales amount based on LED performance improvement and cost reduction."

In addition, Matsushita Electric Works is scheduled to exhibit these new products at the LED Lighting Stage "LED Next Stage 2010" held at the Tokyo International Convention and Exhibition Center from March 9 to 12, 2010.

A leadscrew (or Lead Screw), also known as a power screw or translation screw, is a screw used as a linkage in a machine, to translate turning motion into linear motion. Common applications are linear actuators, machine slides (such as in machine tools), vises, presses, and jacks. We offer lead screw for smt machine.
