Las Vegas, Nevada, USA-January 2013-At the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Altair Semiconductor, Ecrio, and Lantiq jointly announced their successful cooperation And demonstrated the 4G LTE IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) supported by LTE MulTIservice Gateway multi-service gateway products, including LTE-based voice (IMS / VoLTE) function. This LTE multi-service gateway integrates LTE modules to provide IMS-based and fixed mobile broadband multimedia services for residential, small home office enterprise (SOHO), and small and medium-sized enterprise (SMB) users. The gateway enables users to simultaneously enjoy multiple services through the 4G LTE network, and also allows mobile operators to make full use of high bandwidth to provide a series of value-added services, such as broadband network access, multi-channel-based video streaming and rich multimedia communication services.
Altair provides their 4G LTE pre-validated FourGee â„¢ LTE module chipset and LTE software stack, which is used for the gateway's Verizon network connection solution.
Ecrio provides its 4G LTE pre-validated embedded FlexIMS â„¢ mobile communication client kit (MCCS) for LTE to facilitate the integration of IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) with device software and value-added services into LTE gateways .
LanTIq will provide a gateway chipset consisting of the main client device (CPE) network processor XWAY â„¢ GRX388 with integrated Wi-Fi MAC and baseband, Wi-Fi radio frequency chips XWAY â„¢ WRX312 and Smart SLIC â„¢. In addition, LanTIq also provides its Universal Gateway Software Suite (UGW).
