On October 19th, as one of the first batch of science and technology projects in Shuangliu County, the demonstration of LED streetlights in Xiaolong Modern Agriculture Park passed the acceptance test. According to the relevant person in charge of the County Science and Technology Bureau, this is the first demonstration road for LED streetlights in Sichuan Province. At the same brightness, the LED lighting source consumes only 10% of the power of an ordinary incandescent lamp, and its service life is between 50,000 hours and 100,000 hours.
It is understood that LED is also called semiconductor light-emitting diode, using low-voltage power supply, high energy efficiency, significant energy-saving effect, and can withstand high-intensity mechanical shock and vibration, not easy to break, is a new lighting technology. It is reported that the demonstration section is 3 kilometers long, with a total of 84 è·¯ street lamps, 32 plaza street lights and 10 meters high. The total installation cost is 600,000 yuan, with an average of 5,200 yuan per lamp. The initial installation cost of sodium lamps is 257,400. Yuan, the average lamp savings of 2200 yuan (mainly cable costs); installed LED street lights per 100W, equivalent to the ordinary sodium lamp 250W brightness, lighting for 3 hours a day, can save electricity 19053 degrees throughout the year.
