In the case of limited scientific research resources, domestic enterprises can concentrate on each other and strengthen technical research and development in market segments.
Wang Dianzhen believes that improving light efficiency is the main indicator for improving LED core technology. The highest goal of LED light efficiency in the future should be 25LM/W. According to the information released by Cree in December 2009, the highest light efficiency of LED has reached 186LM/ W.
Wang Dianzhen is very optimistic about the prospects of domestic LED companies in the backlight market. He predicted that domestic enterprises will achieve mass production in the LED backlight module market in the near future.

At present, about 10% of LCD TVs on the market use LED backlights. According to Japan's Musashi, about 60% of LCD TVs will be equipped with LED backlights in 2015, and the BLU price will be almost the same as CCFL after 2013.
