Proview Open Letter warns dealers not to sell new iPads

According to the Securities Times website reported on March 8th, after Apple held a press conference to announce the launch of the new iPad, Shenzhen Proview released "open letter to national suppliers and distributors of Apple iPad products", warning distributors not to sell or transport the iPad. Such behavior, otherwise it will pursue all legal responsibilities.

Shenzhen Proview emphasized in its open letter that as of now, the company is the only legal right holder of the “iPAD” registered trademark and enjoys all rights that prohibit others from using the trademark.

Shenzhen Proview said in an open letter that the company solemnly informed the country's Apple iPad (including the Apple iPad 3 series) suppliers, distributors (including network dealers), from the date of the announcement, immediately stop sales, warehousing, transportation, Any infringement of the company's exclusive right to use a registered trademark, such as mailing, will continue to engage in such acts as intentional infringement.

Shenzhen Proview said that the company will take all the most stringent measures to pursue all legal liabilities of the infringer without any notice, including but not limited to administrative, civil and criminal legal liabilities.

A few days ago, Apple and Shenzhen Proview filed a final hearing in the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China on the iPad China trademark right. This case is still under trial.

Shenzhen Weiguan also said earlier that it will complain to Customs this month to apply for customs filing to withhold the import and export of Apple iPad products, mainly for the iPad3.

Apple officially launched the third-generation iPad tablet on March 8th, but it was not named as iPad 3 or iPad HD as the market had earlier expected. It just called it "the new iPad."

According to CCID, the new iPad includes a higher-resolution Retina display and a faster processor in hardware configuration. New features and configurations mean that the new iPad will be thicker and heavier than the iPad 2, because it requires a larger battery to power the high-resolution display.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the new model's display technology is better than high-definition televisions, cameras with 5-megapixel cameras, high-definition video recording capabilities, and the ability to use faster 4G LTE wireless networks. Apple said that the third-generation iPad also has voice recognition capabilities.

According to Sina Technology, according to Apple's arrangement, the new iPad will be on sale on March 16. The first countries and regions to be listed include the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple plans to set the price range of the new iPad to the same level as other listed models, ranging from $499 to $699.
